We are seeking to hire a Solution Consultant with 5+ years of relevant experience to support our sales activities.

A successful candidate will have experience selling connected device technology and services solutions within life sciences, with a focus on developing solutions for pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device companies for the application of connected device use in their clinical trials and programs. 

This role reports into the VP, Clinical Trials. The Solution Consultant role will normally include significant travel commitments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct effective discovery of customer needs and requirements
• Coordinate presentation and demonstration activities with sales and sales management
• Support the completion of RFI/RFP responses
• Propose solutions for customers and prospects and participate in proposal development
• Support customer/prospect or opportunity-specific ROI/Value models
• Configure and conduct unique, use-case-driven presentations and demonstrations supported by effective industry and customer-specific research
• Support sales and sales management throughout the sales process, focused on achieving Vivalink’s commercial Key Performance Indicators
• Manage the effective transition of new accounts to Vivalink’s Customer team
• Provide competitive and product capability feedback to Vivalink’s Strategy, Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams
• Actively engage the life sciences ecosystem as a connected device key opinion leader and advocate
• Represent Vivalink at industry-related conferences and trade shows
• Build and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders within customer and prospect organizations

Qualifications

Background & Skills Required

• Deep understanding and keen interest in life science industry concepts with a focus on clinical business units
• Minimum of five years of previous solution sales consulting experience in clinical trials preferred
• Minimum of five years of previous experience in clinical trials preferred
• Ability to articulate technical solutions in a concise, clear, and convincing way to non-technical and technical audiences
• Previous success selling complex technology solutions to pharma, biotech, and/or medical device companies
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Self-motivating, able to assume responsibility, and work autonomously in a professional manner
• Bachelor’s Degree in the Life Sciences, Business, or Computer Science, with an advanced Master’s Degree or PhD preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation skills
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
