What data do we collect?

Vivalink collects the following data across our website, application and services:

  • Health Vitals - Body temperature, ECG, and SpO2

This data is collected from website, application and service users only when the user has given Vivalink consent to the process of his or her personal data for the purpose of powering Vivalink website, health applications or further inquiry of Vivalink services.

For mobile phones prior to Android 12, Fever Scout uses location permissions to keep the temperature sensor connected even when the app is in the background. The location data is solely used within the app and data is not shared with third parties, except where required by law. The user can control the app's access to location permission through your device settings.

How do we collect your data?

Users directly provide Vivalink with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Submit a website contact form, demo request or join our marketing email list.
  • Register online or signup for any of our applications or services.
  • Use Vivalink applications to provide the data
  • Use our mobile applications via a mobile device

Information we collect automatically:

When you visit our website or use our applications, it is technically necessary for data to be transmitted to our web server via your Internet browser. The following data is recorded during an ongoing connection for communication between your Internet browser and our web server:

Vivalink collects your data so that we can:

  • Send marketing offers and updates on product information - Vivalink uses your data collected from our mailing list forms to email you with offers or further information on other products and services we think you might like.
  • Monitor and track user/patient physical wellbeing and help doctors make clinical decisions - Vivalink uses your data (such as body temperature, ECG, and SpO2) provided from Vivalink applications and report healthcare metrics to doctors and clinicians.

Information Share and Disclosure: We do not share personal information with companies, organizations and individuals outside of Vivalink and its affiliates without your consent, or it is necessary to meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable government request.

Information Security: We work hard to protect your Personal Information. We review our information collection, storage and processing practices, to guard against unauthorized disclosures.

Contact form and contact by e-mail

If you send us inquiries via the contact form or e-mail, your details from the inquiry form or your e-mail, including the contact details you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. It is necessary to provide an e-mail address in order to contact us; providing your name and telephone number is voluntary. We will never pass on this data without your consent. The legal basis for processing the data is our legitimate interest in responding to your request and, if applicable, our obligation to conclude a contract with you. Your data will be deleted after final processing of your request, provided that there are no legal storage obligations to the contrary.
