For millions of people in countries around the world, that’s simply not possible. There is little to no access to medical treatment, and vision care isn’t a reality. This is especially true for children, whose unique developmental stages require advanced skill sets and procedural techniques to care for them properly. A recent trip to Southeast Asia highlights one physician team's work to bring advanced vision care to rural medical clinics.
