Vivalink, a leading provider of digital healthcare solutions, today announced the commercial release of its new wearable ECG sensor adhesive that improves the detection of p-waves during ambulatory cardiac monitoring. P-wave abnormalities are strong predictors of future adverse cardiac events, including atrial fibrillation, ischemic stroke, and even sudden cardiac death. As a newly introduced companion to Vivalink’s rechargeable, re-usable multi-vital ECG patch, the adhesive is a critical enhancement to Vivalink’s wearable monitors, supporting earlier intervention, improved patient outcomes, and high-quality data collection in clinical trials.

P-waves, which represent the electrical activity of the heart’s upper chambers, are important markers of atrial health. Vivalink’s multi-vital ECG patch is a lightweight, wearable cardiac monitor built for continuous ECG monitoring in clinical care, remote patient monitoring and clinical research environments. Reusable and chargeable, the patch streams live ECG and vital signs such as heart rate, respiratory rate, and skin temperature while also storing data locally to prevent gaps in the event of a network disruption.
