VivaLNK, a leading provider of connected healthcare devices, today announces exciting solutions built on its developer program. VivaLNK's developer program enables Internet of Health Things (IoHT) solution providers to easily integrate medical and healthcare applications with VivaLNK's suite of connected wearable devices for wellness, remote patient care, and telemedicine. The contents of the developer program include wearable sensors, software development kits (SDK), and technical support. Under the program, SDKs are available for Vital Scout, a continuous stress and recovery monitor, Fever Scout, a continuous temperature monitor, and an ECG recorder, used to record and monitor for cardiac-related activities.
AlacrityCare is one partner currently developing clinical-grade digital monitoring solutions that connect patients, providers and caregivers throughout the cancer treatment journey. Using VivaLNK's Fever Scout and ECG recorder for remote continuous temperature and ECG monitoring, AlacrityCare not only offers better insights into what is happening throughout the treatment journey, but also helps to avoid unnecessary hospitalizations due to more proactive care.
"VivaLNK's connected wearable devices enable us to correlate multiple patient data points into an integrated solution for post-cancer therapy monitoring," said Shawn Zhou, CEO of AlacrityCare. "Their development kits are easy to use, and the support team is very responsive."
When Myia started developing an intelligent health platform for managing chronic conditions, it sought nonintrusive wearable devices to gather the real-time data that powers the analytics behind its actionable insights for preventing costly and avoidable medical events. Myia is a developer program partner using the VivaLNK ECG recorder SDK.
"VivaLNK devices combine thoughtful form factor and medical-grade data fidelity, and the VivaLNK team consistently delivers on our bespoke needs," said Simon MacGibbon, CEO of Myia. "This enables us to focus on developing novel approaches to predict and prevent costly and harmful cardiovascular events."
The developer program is open to partners looking to build healthcare focused mobile and cloud applications that integrate with and analyze data from VivaLNK wearable telemetry devices. IoHT has the potential to significantly change healthcare for the better, but the key is data. Much of the machine learning and intelligence will come from user generated data that currently doesn't exist or is not easily accessible. This is where wearable devices collecting medical-grade quality data that can easily be connected to the network become important.
All VivaLNK wearable devices are designed for continuous, multi-day wear with telemetry capabilities.
